AAUW began as an organization to open doors for women to pursue their goals of higher education. Today, those doors have expanded to include:

AAUW branches in Washington State:

  • Provide local scholarships to female undergraduate and graduate students
  • Support young women 7th graders attend STEM summer camp TechTrek
  • Partner with colleges to hold Expanding Your Horizons conferences
  • Engage with their local colleges and universities through AAUW’s C/U partnership program
